There is no standard name of the new generation head. Roland XR 640 / XF640 / RE 640 / RA 640 / VS640 / FH 740 / BN20; Mimaki TS34 / JV34; Mutoh VJ1618 / VJ 1324 / VJ1624 / VJ1638 / VJ2638

Use new generation head. As normal, we call these printers head DX6 head. And we call Epson F177000 / F196000 / F189010 head DX7 head.

All Roland Mimaki and Mutoh printers above have to use original head, no compatible Epson head.

Some of them use same print head.

Mimaki JV34 / TS34 use same print head, Mimaki part number is M010792

Mimaki JV34 / TS34 head and Mutoh VJ1618 head are same.
